Customer Stories: The Fortune Family

OWNER: The Fortune Family

HOMETOWN: Westfield, Indiana

DILEMMA: Trying to please everyone, all the time

DREAM: Vehicle storage, garden shed, pool house, tiki bar, game room—oh, and extra storage

PRIORITY: A multipurpose space for a multipurpose life

“We pretty much live in there,” Nancy Fortune told us. Along with room for their cars, the Fortune’s garage accommodates a pool house, a gas fireplace, a tiki bar, bistro tables, a bathroom, a partial kitchen, extra storage, and a game room in the loft area.

“Our garage is anything but ordinary! Everyone thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. Almost every night of the week, we have friends and family over, and our three kids always have something to do,” Nancy continued.

The Fortunes especially appreciated how their Coach House rep worked with them to make the garage exactly what they wanted. And they were also astounded at how fast the garage went up. “When they show up to build it, it’s up! My husband Rob had to drop off the kids at school and run an errand, and when he came back, the walls were up!” Nancy marveled.

SUMMARY: “We almost went with a pole barn. But once we talked to our local Coach House dealer, there wasn’t any doubt that we had to have a Coach House. We felt so comfortable with him, we just knew he would do an awesome job. The garage matches the house, and ties into the rest of our property perfectly. They even built a dog door into the unit for our dogs, Mitzi and Lovey! We couldn’t be happier with our Coach House,” Nancy said with a big smile.
